Hi! I'm Avery "Snails" Shellist. I am a multi-medium artist based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I specialize primarily in illustration, especially regarding character and creature design. I hope you enjoy your short stay among my work!

Character References

Most of my focus is on character creation. In order to redraw the characters I create, I create reference sheets, showing my characters in simple poses to show off all of their important details.

Comedy

Generally, I like to incorporate humor into my artwork, although it isn't normally the main focus. These, of course, are the exception.

Other Works

Sometimes my works don't follow any particular theme-- after all, freedom is what keeps me sane!
